Symphonic Metal: SONS of SEASONS?

Much as I loved the cover with the ever delicious Simone on it I just couldn't get too much into the music. It just seems rather average to me. But then again a steady diet of Therion, Nightwish, and Epica have probably raised the bar a bit too high. I will, of course, keep listening and see if they grow on me. I have a long history of not "getting" bands at first.
