JVC Everio GZ-MG335 problems?

Whenever I turn the camera on, which is by opening the lcd screen thing, it stays on for about 5 seconds then turns off. I press the power on on the inside of the screen thing to turn it back on, and nothing happens. I can wait for about 5 minutes, then try again, repeating the whole process above. What is wrong with this really crappy camera?
