Illinois State Police Problems?

I get pulled over last night on I-90 right about to get off at the Arlington Heights Road exit. I think no big deal because I got pulled over a couple of days ago for a broken taillight. Instead I without telling me what's going on the officer calls back up, tells me and my friend to go into his partner's car, then tell's my brother, who was driving, to go the cop's car who originally pulled us over. They search my car without asking, including my glove box. Funny thing is my friend who is studying to become a cop has a few questions to ask the cop, the cop took about 2 min to answer the question because he had to think. Well anyways I hear on the radio, "Dump em". So we get released and realize that we got a ticket for speeding, 74 on a 55. A ticket for expired plates, and a ticket for improper show of registration. But I have temp plates, in the back dash? What is your view on tehe situation and how can I fight back?
