How can Jews believe Moses is not going to heaven?

Hello. I have been lead to believe that Jews say Moses (pbuh) will not enter heaven (or the Jewish version of it). How can they/you believe such a thing? What is God so unforgiving to kick such a great man out but let poor excuses of believers enter just because they are Jews? Please explain this to me, I'm treading on ground I don't know of!
