Where are some rather desolate, yet beautiful, places to go in ireland?

some parts of wicklow are nice and the place wher wb yeats the poet is from in sligo is beautiful, also if you don't mind sheep there is a place in galway called roundstone, mountains beautiful walks....it is gorgeous....but in ireland you never have far to go before you see something beautiful
