RHH: Why do you think Canibus' album "Can-I-Bus" got such lukewarm reviews?

i was just listening to it, and it came to mind. i've actually always really liked the album. the production wasn't half bad. the lyrics were on point. good song concepts (though some may have been cliche, but some were actually quite clever). why didnt anyone like it? or critics more specifically.
