How to report a dirty appraiser who tried to write off my car without reason...maybe to sell it or buy it?

Someone backed into my car while waiting for a parkin. I filed a claim and was told they would send an appraiser. He took a quick look at my car and acted like there was no problem and car would be fixed. He never asked for an quote from mechanic. Mechanic waited next day to hear and insurance company which then said car was a write off and to wait for a tow truck to have car picked up. I had a message left for me saying the same thing but I was never told about an amount they would offer me...nothing. I called appraiser who denied saying he deemed it a write off. I left work at the time, I was so worried about losing my car, it was a used car I had only bought a few months ago in mint condition. Spent hours back and forth with insurance company, appraiser, mechanic. Insurance agent said appraiser told them the suspension and many other things were needed to be fixed on the car which was all a lie. I was on a three way phone call with claims agent and my mechanic, where he told her all the things listed that needed to be fixed were untrue. I later left a message for write off department that I would not accept this and would be contacting a lawyer, amazingly the next day, first thing in the morning, I get a call from the appraiser saying my car is now fixable, that he worked SO hard for me to find all the parts I needed. I was told to get my mechanic to start fixing the car without first seeing a quote and without the appraiser bringing any of the ( so called) parts he had worked so hard to find for me. UNREAL....This guy put me through hell about this for over two weeks and all for what.....cause he wanted to maybe take my car and sell it, I heard that this appraisers can at times be on the look out for certain cars and when they see them, deem them write offs to walk away with. How can this be allowed to happen??? I really want to go after this guy. There is alot more to this story and I have many witnesses to his improper behaviour. Where is the best place to go to report him? Please help!!!!!!!!!!!
